About the Programme
Learning the Qur’an with proper Tajweed (rules of Quranic recitation) and understanding its translation is essential for every Muslim. This AnNoor Qur’an recitation with Tajweed (grammar) & Translation Programme is designed to help students recite the Qur’an with proper pronunciation and grammar (Tajweed) and memorization of selected Surahs while also comprehending its meanings to grasp the message of Allah. This course is ideal for beginners as well as those looking to refine their recitation skills and understand the translation of the Qur’an.
Course Objectives
1. Master Tajweed Rules – Learn the correct pronunciation of Arabic letters, rules of elongation (Madd), stops (Waqf), and other essential Tajweed principles.
2. Improve Qur’anic Recitation – Develop fluency and beauty in recitation by applying Tajweed rules.
3. Understand the Meaning – Study the translation to grasp the message of the Qur’an.
4. Memorization – Memorization of selected Surahs.

1. Tajweed Lessons
Basic Arabic Letters & Pronunciation (Makharij)
Rules of Noon Sakinah & Tanween (Izhar, Idgham, Iqlab, Ikhfa)
Rules of Meem Sakinah (Idgham, Ikhfa, Izhar)
Qalqalah (Echoing sounds)
Madd Rules (Natural, Secondary, and Necessary Madd)
Stopping Rules (Waqf) – When and how to pause while reciting.
2. Translation
Translation of the Qur’an to help students understand its teachings and profound message.
3. Practical Recitation Sessions
Recitation practice with a qualified teacher.
Correction of Mistakes – Immediate feedback on pronunciation and Tajweed errors.
Listening & Repetition – Learning by listening to expert Qaris (reciters).
