About the Programme
AnNoor Diploma in Urdu Language is designed for mid-level learners aiming to elevate their language proficiency from an intermediate to an advanced level. The program focuses on enhancing the students’ abilities to read, comprehend, write, and speak Urdu with fluency and accuracy. The course offers a comprehensive curriculum covering the reading and writing of complex Urdu texts, advanced grammar, and rhetoric. It also includes translation skills, the history of Urdu language and literature, and an exploration of classical and modern prose and poetry. Additionally, students will study various Urdu poetic and prose genres, literary criticism, and the evolution of literary schools, institutions, and movements. Practical writing skills, such as letter and application writing, as well as essay composition, are also included in this program.

- Grammar and Rhetoric (Fasaahat o Balaaghat) : Advanced understanding of Urdu grammar rules and rhetorical techniques.

- Prose: Study of Urdu prose genres & notable prose writers and their literary works.
